Orlando Magician Dan Sperry Joins Curious Company at Bellhop
Magic, burlesque, comedy and cocktails come together in downtown Orlando on Friday, October 9, as Dan Sperry joins the cast of Curious Company: The Night Register at Bellhop.
On Friday, October 9, Orlando magician Dan Sperry returns to Bellhop for Curious Company: The Night Register — an intimate night of live entertainment bringing together magic, burlesque, comedy, cocktails and a decidedly curious collection of performers.
The limited-capacity event begins at 7 PM and brings Sperry back to a venue where he has performed before, this time as part of an eclectic cast whose credits span America's Got Talent, Penn & Teller: Fool Us, The Illusionists and TODAY.
A Familiar Face in Orlando's Unusual Side of Entertainment
For Sperry, Curious Company is also the latest chapter in a long-running relationship with Orlando audiences.
Before returning to Bellhop for The Night Register, Sperry was the regular performing magician at Orlando's Cocktails & Screams, bringing his distinctive style of close-up magic to the city's haunted bar. He's also become a returning favorite at the Orlando Oddities & Curiosities Market, where his live stage show has been an annual highlight for the past two years.
Those appearances are part of a much larger history of performing throughout Orlando and Central Florida.
Sperry regularly appears as a corporate magician in Orlando, entertaining companies and convention audiences at the Orange County Convention Center and events throughout the region. His Orlando stage credits have also included headlining the Walt Disney Theater at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts during his years touring internationally with The Illusionists.
From major theaters and convention events to some of Orlando's stranger corners, it's a city Sperry keeps finding his way back to.
Curious Company: The Night Register

Curious Company isn't a traditional magic show — and that's precisely the point.
The evening brings different corners of live entertainment together under one roof, combining magic, burlesque, comedy and cocktails for a limited audience at Bellhop.
For Sperry, whose career has moved between Broadway stages, television, alternative nightlife, intimate close-up performances and unconventional live events, it's familiar territory.
Audiences may recognize him from America's Got Talent, more than 10 seasons of The CW's Masters of Illusion, TODAY, two Broadway seasons and five years touring internationally with The Illusionists.
On October 9, though, the setting gets considerably smaller.
And considerably closer.
