Dan Sperry Headlines Opening Weekend at Knott’s Scary Farm’s OCCULTUM
A New Kind of Magic at Knott’s Scary Farm
OCCULTUM marks the first collaboration between Knott’s Scary Farm and the Magic Castle, bringing a rotating lineup of professional magicians into the heart of one of Southern California’s most iconic Halloween events.
For opening weekend, Dan performed four shows each night inside the intimate Bird Cage Theatre — giving Scary Farm guests a chance to step away from the fog, monsters and haunted mazes for something just as strange.
Only this time, the impossible was happening a few feet away.

Opening Weekend at OCCULTUM
Across three nights and twelve performances, audiences packed into the Bird Cage Theatre for an up-close look at the kind of magic that has taken Dan from America’s Got Talent and The CW’s Masters of Illusion to Broadway, Radio City Music Hall, The Kennedy Center, the Sydney Opera House and stages around the world.
For Sperry, OCCULTUM was also a natural fit.
Long before Halloween entertainment became a seasonal part of his calendar, the darker and stranger side of magic had been central to his work — making a collaboration between Knott’s Scary Farm and the Magic Castle a particularly fitting way to begin the 2026 Halloween season.
Halloween Season Is Officially Underway
With opening weekend at Knott’s Scary Farm complete, Dan returns to Florida as the Halloween season gets into full swing.
A limited number of dates remain available for Halloween parties, corporate events, country clubs and private celebrations throughout Tampa, Orlando, Central Florida and beyond.
Whether it’s an intimate private party, strolling magic during a cocktail reception or a complete stand-up show, Dan brings the same strange, interactive and impossible style of magic seen by audiences at Knott’s Scary Farm to select events throughout Florida.
