Take one part Tim Burton, one part Cirque Du Soleil, one part Houdini with a twist of the bizarre and you have Dan Sperry. Three time winner of the Award of Merit from the International Brotherhood of Magicians, one of the youngest magicians to headline the Magic Castle in Hollywood, California, awarded as an International Champion by the World Magic Seminar in Las Vegas when he was 17, completed a National Tour of Canada, and is the youngest magician to be featured in The World's Greatest Magic Show in Las Vegas: Dan Sperry is not your average magician.
Dan’s professional performing career began when he was ten years old and he has now grown to be one of the most unique and in-demand professional illusionists in the country. His dramatic and theatrical style has been seen by thousands from coast to coast and international stages and television as he’s taken the magic world by storm. He combines classic sleight of hand and manipulation, theatrical illusion, together with a little bit of the bizarre to bring a new and refreshing look and style to an old art form.
Audiences of young and old alike have experienced his sensational performances utilizing a charismatic combination of mind-bending mentalism, jaw dropping sleight of hand manipulations, and full blown stage illusions along with audience participation and situational comedy for an entertainment experience like nothing you have experienced before.

Dan's interest in magic began when he was only four years old when his Grandparents took him to see David Copperfield perform in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Since that very night Dan has been infected with the magic bug and would try to invent his own magic tricks and perform them whenever he could find an audience. At the age of ten Dan turned professional, performing magic in the central Minnesota area at birthday parties, scout banquettes, and schools. As the years passed he has traveled across the United States sharing his unique style of magic with audiences from all walks of life.
Dan has studied under the direction of Dale Salwak of the prestigious Chavez College and Studio of Magic in California and is the youngest non-member magician to not have to audition, but be invited by the president of the Magic Castle and Academy of Magical Arts to perform in the Palace of Mystery at the world famous Magic Castle in Hollywood, CA. Only a small number of magicians share this honor, some include the late Doug Henning, Lance Burton, and David Copperfield. |
