VERY happy to announce my new logo is all done! It was created by my buddy Gris Grimly, a very talented and creative guy, and I’m honored to say he has made me my “bat signal”!

This color combination is one of my favorites with the red on black style of it.

I hope you guys like it as it is welcomed into “the family” and makes its way onto some of the cool new merch goodies that are coming out soon:)

That’s all the time we have for today. I’ve just arrived in Seoul, South Korea this morning at about 8AM and have been in production meetings all day, now time for some much needed rest before a day of 14 + hours of shooting tomorrow for a really cool 2-part TV special to air in the coming weeks!

This is one of Dan’s signature routines from his live tours and it was no surprise it was a hit in Sydney as well!

Kids: Don’t try this at home…wait til’ you get to school then pound a beer and have some fun!

The answer is usually: “When I’m tired.” – the truth is: “Not often.”

Last night at 4am I was talking with my driver about how he likes to work at night, as do I, but the truth is I’m really always working.  And at that point I realized what my next few days were going to really look like…

1/27
- 8:00pm do my headlining show at Times Scare: Magic shoW
- 10:00pm start packing up my show
- 11:30pm finish packing my suitcases and get all metaphorical ducks in a row to be away from Casa Scary in NYC for a month on tour

1/28
- 2:30am shower and get prop cases and suitcases to office
- 4:00am driver picks me to to go to the airport for flight at 6:30am
- 6:30am fly to Milwaukee, then connect to my plane to Des Moines
- Noon land in Des Moines, get baggage and rental car and drive to show 2hrs away
- 2:15 arrive at gig, load in and set up
- 3:30 check into hotel
- 5:00pm try to eat but not hungry…get coffee
- 5:45pm shower again and get ready for show
- 7:00pm show
- 8:15pm pack up show
- 8:45pm back to hotel room
- 9:15pm order room service, try to eat – kinda did this time
- 10pm shower again to wash off fake blood and make up, can’t be staining hotel room pillows now can we
- 11:45 – and here we are now, about to try to get some sleep before….

2:00am get up and shower again – yes I’m a neat freak like that
2:30am drive to airport in Des Moines
4:45am drop off rental car
6:15 board plane to Vegas for take off at 6:30am
11:30am arrive in Vegas, head to warehouse to check on new illusion
3:00pm-ish? go home, do laundry, pay bills, catch up on all that stuff
6:00pm dinner at Wynn
8:00pm – ? out on the strip…now what?

6:00am get up and drive to LA for meeting
7:00am need to be driving to LA so not late for meeting
11:00/11:30 – Lunch meeting in LA
4:00pm drive back to Vegas
8:30/9:00pm get back home
9:00pm start packing again, last minute laundry again

1/31
7:00am get up to run errands of the day before leaving again
2:00pm back home to take care of last minute home stuff before leaving…again
4:00pm – work stuff?
6/7pm food?
- try to squeeze time to chill out and maybe netflix in there somewhere?

get up and fly to Singapore

Im very honored to have been asked to be featured in 2 full tv specials in south Korea as well as do other numerous promotional appearances in Singapore leading up to the opening of the run of The Illusionists which will happen there for several weeks in February.

It is an amazing opportunity and an honor and privilege I cannot turn down but sadly tomorrow night will be my last night performing Magic shoW in Times Square until March 5. I appreciate the understanding and continued support and if you do happen to have tickets during the time I am gone I know the venue is offering a deal to see the show that will be filling in my time slot as well as a return pass for when I come back.

There are a lot of really exciting new and bigger things coming I cant wait to spill the coffee on, but it will have to wait until Im allowed to let you guys in on it all.
